I am part of the team developing Acoustic Resonance Technology (ART) at DNV. This is a broadband acoustic technique which uses both time and frequency domain information to measure wall thickness and other parameters of NDT interest. We are developing a 192-channel gas pipe scanner which is pig mounted, and does not require liquid couplant. We have used ART in a number of novel measurement scenarios in the oil & gas sector.
