K.Kawashima has retired from Nagoya Institute of Technology in March, 2004 and established "Ultrasonic Materials Diagnosis Lab." in incubation center in Nagoya Institute of Technology.
His current interest and activity are ultrasonic materials evaluation, in paticular nonlinear ultrasonic imaging of minute defects of nm order gaps.
