Technology Design exhibited at ASNT Fall Conference 2005

The ASNT Fall Conference and Exhibition, held in Columbus, Ohio during the 3rd week of October 2005 was once again a resounding success for Technology Design. Our Sales Manager, Jackie Berry said," The Fall exhibition is always a good platform for TD and this one has been no exception."
The show was attended by Ms. Berry and our Applications Manager, Mark Nel. TD shared a double booth with our USA Distributor, Mechanical Integrity Inc., which provided a well balanced marketing approach from manufacture to provision of on-site services.
We noticed that an increased number of our visitors were NDT service providers who are entering the Phased Array market and aiming at the fabrication/QC industry. The Phased Array market is developing rapidly and as an increasing number of technicians are formally trained, this market promises to be very exciting.

In the current climate of Phased Array ‘hype’ it was encouraging to see an ongoing interest in our ToFD, Corrosion Mapping and other Pulse Echo software, and of course the ever-popular Pocket-Scan unit. The current Autumn Sale on TD Pocket-Scan’s proved to be very attractive and we gained a number of orders at the exhibition. The sale runs until the end of December 2005 and is our way of saying “Thank you”, in our 10th year, to the NDT industry for its support during this time.

Our show visitors were excited by our new TD Super-View software and its amazing versatility. Some delegates revisited our booth several times with questions and just to look at this application in action.
The show proved to us that all the hard work over the past years has been well worth the effort and that the ASNT conference/exhibition is an essential forum for us and to the industry in general. We look forward to returning again next year.
