MAC NDT Systems to be Featured at Tube & Wire 2006 - Dusseldorf

February 1, 2006
Magnetic Analysis Corp will feature the ® FD-4, latest in its Echomac® line of ultrasonic testers, and the Rotomac® eddy current 1RM tester at Booth # 7.0C36 in Hall 7.0 at the TUBE 06 show in Dusseldorf, Germany, April 24th - 28th, 2006.

Attendees at both WIRE 06 and TUBE 06 are invited to visit MAC's booth for complete information on ultrasonic, eddy current and flux leakage test systems for wire, bar, tube and strip.

The new Echomac FD-4 can provide data on tube ID, OD dimensions, eccentricity and ovality in addition to wall thickness and flaw detection. With 32 test channels in a single test system, the FD-4 features outstanding test performance in a Windows® XP platform. New design signal and power transmission achieve higher signal to noise ratio and the seal-less rotary ensures greater reliability. The FD-4 instrumentation is well suited for use in both new installations and retrofit applications using a customer's existing transducers.

MACs Rotomac® 1RM for eddy current detection of seam type defects in wire and bar up to 25mm diameter will also be featured. Suitable for magnetic or non-magnetic material, the 1RM can be installed on or off line. End suppression circuitry is included for cut length inspection.

Data on MAC's Rotoflux® flux leakage testers, particularly applicable to large diameter, heavy wall oil country tube will also be available
