5th International Conference on NDE in Relation to Structural Integrity for Nuclear and Pressurized Components
Advance Technical Program is now available
The 5th International Conference on NDE in Relation to Structural Integrity for Nuclear and Pressurized Components will be held in San Diego, California, USA, from May 10 to 12, 2006. This conference is the fifth in a series devoted to the use of NDE to demonstrate the structural integrity of nuclear and pressurized components. Previous conferences were held in Seville, Amsterdam, New Orleans, and most recently in London in December 2004. All were highly successful in the quality and scope of the technical program and in the number of delegates attending from all countries with an interest in the structural integrity of nuclear and pressurized components. All aspects of this highly important subject will be covered in the fifth conference, with particular emphasis on the links between structural integrity requirements and NDE perfor-mance. Determination of NDE performance by both develop-ment of qualification systems and experience with their use will be prominently featured. In addition, the development of improved NDE systems, of new NDE methods, and of methods for assessing NDE performance, such as modeling, will be included. The overall objectives of the conference are to pro-vide an up-to-date assessment of the state of development of the subject and permit technical interchange between experts on an international basis.
The conference is coordinated by EPRI and JRC, and the technical content is organized by an international committee and chaired by:
