Kodak Raises the Standards in Digital Radiography with New System Enhancements

ROCHESTER, N.Y., March 12, 2007 — Devoted to enhancing radiographic image analysis and lab productivity for computed radiography, Eastman Kodak Company today announced additions to its line of non-destructive testing products, including V2.0 of KODAK INDUSTREX Digital Viewing Software. Along with this software update, Kodak offers a new option—a high-performance laptop ideal for field environments and the lab.

KODAK INDUSTREX Digital Viewing Software V2.0 offers improved imaging for NDT applications by allowing users to capture and review images approximately 60 percent faster than before, making film-less radiography a more efficient and sensible choice for imaging needs. For advanced image clarity, the new software is bundled with high-resolution monitor options, including a portable laptop with a 3MP High Brightness Color Monitor. In addition to faster image visualization, KODAK INDUSTREX Digital Viewing Software V2.0 also allows users to capture an image while simultaneously analyzing, annotating, or inspecting other images. This functionality helps improve workflow in busy facilities with high test volumes. “These enhancements show that Kodak is devoted to growing its portfolio of applications for digital radiography,” said Martin Graen, general manager of Kodak’s Non-Destructive Testing business. “We remain faithful to our customers by taking heed to their unique needs and raising the standard in digital radiography for NDT markets around the world.”

User interface translations are available in French, Italian, German, and Spanish with KODAK INDUSTREX V2.0 Multilingual Software Kit.
