Coating Thickness Measuring Instrument DUALSCOPE? FMP100 with New Inspection Plan Software Fischer DataCenter IP

Helmut Fischer GmbH Institut für Elektronik und Messtechnik2, Sindelfingen, Germany

Non-destructive and precise thickness measurements can now be taken on multi-layered coatings with FISCHER’s portable measuring devices DUALSCOPE FMP100 and FMP150.

Due to the instruments’ high resolution, ultra-bright touchscreen display and Windows™ CE operating system, these instruments are not only easy and intuitive to use, but also provide extensive evaluation and statistics functions supported by a variety of graphical presentation options.

The DUALSCOPE FMP100 and FMP150 handhelds are ideal for quality control in continuous production, for incoming inspections or in the lab, on random samples or entire series. Due to their vast software capabilities, these flexible devices can be even used for statistical monitoring of processes. FISCHER also offers a wide variety of compatible high-precision probes that provide optimal results with extremely high measurement accuracy.

When used in combination with the optionally available inspection plan management software, FISCHER DataCenter IP, these professional measurement instruments turn into powerful multi-functional data terminals, opening up a whole new dimension in metrology. Individually created inspection plans, enhanced through visually supported user guidance, can be executed step by step and supplemented by relevant, task-specific information, ensuring the accurate and correct acquisition of complex data, even by non-technical users.
