AOS (Advanced OEM Solutions) is announcing the release of their new line of advanced phased array ultrasonic OEM systems. For an affordable price NDT professionals can get their hands on a customizable high performance phased array instrument.
Portable and AUT equipment are overly complicated. Manufacturers have been competing to reach high levels of complexity, attempting to serve the largest number of applications imaginable within one complicated graphical interface, and at a high price. This extremely small system is only 70x110x50mm (less than 300g for a 16/16ch version) and 70x110x90mm (less than 500g for a 64/64 ch version). OEMPA is also available in 32/32ch and 32/128 ch versions. For customers willing to use advanced phased array with Matrix probes for example, the system can even be scaled up to 128/128 or 256/256ch. OEMPA is also equipped with both a High Speed LAN and USB interface, which gives complimentary advantages. Users are free to choose which data interface would fit their application the best.
OEMPA offers the best performance in terms of speed, signal quality, focusing and beam steering capability. Full real-time A-scan acquisition, Video A-scan, Video S-scan, large number of cycles, DDF, 4 gates per cycle, custom filtering and echo tracking over cycles are just some of the processing features included in a standard OEMPA module.
To get users started a basic software application using the API, monitoring tools and actual examples are provided for out of the box use or to serve as a guide to quickly develop a dedicated application tailored for a specific inspection need. The API is available in a Windows environment as well as Labview and Matlab. The API is delivered with monitoring tools providing savings on development time. Basically, you can either use the application SW that is available or use the different layers of the API to develop the exact SW that you want, ensuring the effectiveness of the customers business.
Finally, a wide range of probes and accessories complete the e-commerce experience to give any NDT professional the tools necessary to succeed in their daily activities.
