(Waltham, MA, USA -- January 28, 2013) Olympus NDT will be hosting a free educational Webinar series titled Introduction to Phased Array Inspection Using the OmniScan MX2 that will be running throughout the first part of 2013. These webinars will take the participant through the basics of preparing a single-group phased array inspection using the OmniScan MX2. While learning phased array theory and basic inspection concepts, participants will also be exposed to application examples and real-world success stories. The OmniScan MX2 family of ultrasonic flaw detectors with touch screen interface offers increased testing efficiencies and powerful new on-board and PC-based software features, ensuring superior manual and advanced AUT application performance with fast setups, test cycles, and reporting.
The series is progressive and each part will lead into the next. Throughout the series participants will learn about the OmniScan MX2 instrument, OmniPC for offline analysis, the NDT SetupBuilder, and TomoView Software for Analysis. Participants will have an opportunity to submit questions or comments that will be addressed during the events. Each successive Webinar will start with a short review from the last section prior to continuing to the next step.
