|VarioCAM® High Definition and VarioCAM® HD head
For the first time, with the VarioCAM® High Definition series, which is manufactured by the German manufacturer Jenoptik, InfraTec presents mobile thermographic microbolometer cameras with a detector format of (1,024 x 768) IR pixels and therefore a 2.5 times higher resolution than previous high-class models.
This series is already the third generation, which uses the continuously operating optomechanical real-time MicroScan feature. This feature now allows for acquisition of dynamic thermal image sequences with a resolution of (2,048 x 1,536) IR pixels. Smallest defects can be recognised securely and efficiently, even on extensive object surfaces. Crystal-clear thermal images can be captured in connection with the outstanding thermal resolution and high-luminosity lenses. Large test objects can be investigated thermographically with a degree of efficiency which has never been reached before. The fully radiometric storage of fast infrared sequences is possible via GigE-Vision-Interface with up to 240 Hz. Data can be stored on an internal SDHC card or directly on the control computer. Capturing can be triggered manually, by a timer or action-controlled.
The stationary version VarioCAM® HD head with its compact IP67 standard light metal housing is especially suited for industrial and scientific use. An integrated process interface with PoE technology in connection with the modular control and analysis software IRBIS® 3 online allows for easy integration into production processes for in-line quality inspection purposes.
The extensive assortment of lenses and optics completes the range of possible test objects from micro-thermography to telephoto applications for objects in large distances. In accordance with Jenoptik's quality guidelines, the optics of the VarioCAM® HD camera series are designed for uncompromising full lenses with an f-number of 1.0, highest transmission quality and lowest distortion.
