Building upon the success of the 2010 and 2012 conference events, the 2014 Conference will be the premiere industry event in Canada for 2014. NDT professionals from across the world will convene at the Eaton Chelsea in downtown Toronto to discuss the latest and greatest in NDT; spanning topics related to risk-based ISI, technological advancements, and radiation safety. Larry Cote, President/CEO of CINDE states, "We are looking forward to what will be another great experience for the nondestructive testing, evaluation, and inspection community. CINDE is dedicated to providing valuable educational and network building opportunities to assist in the constant development of the Canadian NDT industry. This conference will be the go-to event in 2014 for professionals from Canada and around the world."
In addition to topics relating to engineering, inspection qualification, personnel training and certification, and technological advancements, the program is welcoming papers and presentations in the area of radiography, radiation safety, and other presentations related to nuclear energy. "CINDE is improving on the success of the past conferences by broadening the NDT portion of the program - adding radiation safety, radiography, and NDT as it relates to the nuclear industry. We will provide access to topics that are a large part of an expanding nuclear sector as well as ensure that we engage as many individuals as possible," says Mr. Cote. "We hope to engage some other industry organizations to help us do that and look forward to announcing them soon."
