Olympus Introduces the Portable Flex Stand for its DELTA Handheld XRF Analyzers

Olympus is pleased to announce the release of the Flex Stand, a compact test stand for its DELTA handheld X-ray fluorescence (XRF) analyzers. This portable accessory offers a cost-effective and simple, hands-free solution to test small samples, standard size sample cups, and bagged samples. In the horizontal configuration, the sample is positioned in the chamber with an adjustable platform and secured with a groove and/or three-position ramp. In the vertical configuration, the sample is positioned in the chamber on top of the analyzer’s measurement window and held by gravity.

The DELTA XRF analyzer is secured to the test chamber with a simple push-and-click motion and is released with a convenient bar pull. The test chamber is shielded so that during testing, the x-ray radiation levels are at background. The portable Flex Stand is non-interlocked and is recommended for use with 40kV DELTA XRF analyzers.

The DELTA XRF Flex is particularly convenient for a variety of sample types.

  • Precious Metals: small pieces of jewelry and precious metal scrap
  • Alloys & Metals: small components, shavings, turnings, wires
  • Environmental & Mining: samples in baggies or prepped in standard XRF sample cups
  • RoHS & Consumer Safety: small components & pieces, wires & cables
