ROSEN is strengthening its presence in North America by opening a new office based in Columbus, Ohio.
Houston, October 2nd, 2014 – ROSEN, the leading provider of integrity management solutions for the Oil and Gas industry is strengthening its presence in North America. ROSEN Group CEO, Friedrich Hecker is pleased to announce the opening of a new office based in Columbus, Ohio.
ROSEN USA is serving a significant customer base located in the Midwest. The new location will bring ROSEN products and services closer to existing and new customers. "The region remains a key driver to the overall success of ROSEN, and it is important that ROSEN continues to invest and dedicate the resources required to reach the next level of growth and success that we have planned for and continue to satisfy the needs of our customers" said Friedrich Hecker, CEO of ROSEN.
Beside the regional character, all ROSEN offices are part of the nationwide network of ROSEN locations. The Columbus facility will have a strong focus on advanced diagnostic services and integrity solutions. This comprises advanced crack inspection and assessment services for pipelines. "Having a facility located in Columbus allows for us to remain flexible in providing Advanced Service solutions with the dedication and quality required", said Shawn Peet, ROSEN USA Pipelines Manager of Operations.
The operation will go live in 2014. The facility and its employees will be an integral part in managing the growth of the in-line inspection crack services, primarily focused on solutions irrespective of the product in gas and liquid pipelines. Sensor technologies like the Electro Magnetic Acoustics Transducer (EMAT) and upper level of piezo-electric ultrasonic devices (UT) are utilized and packaged in a customer focused work environment to ensure high quality crack detection inspection services.
The location of the facility was strategically selected with ROSEN Calgary and ROSEN Houston both being a similar distance to Columbus. The location of the new office will allow for an eager interaction between the different ROSEN sites in the most efficient and cooperative manner. “We serve a market with a high demand and expectations and the more complex the subject, the closer the cooperation is needed. The utmost quality of our service is a high expectation upon ourselves and the success achieved over the last three decades as the leader on in-line inspection is directly related to the investments that we make to remain a sustainable service provider”, said Chris F Yoxall, Vice President, ROSEN USA.
The facility will house a spacious workshop making in-line inspection tools available across the entire diameter range from 6” – 48”. The tools will be assembled and prepared individually for the different surveys. All required onsite activities and also the subsequent crack data analysis and reporting will be conducted at the new office in Columbus, Ohio by ROSEN engineers, analysts and technicians who combine rigorous professional skills with outstanding service levels.
