PROline – The easy solution for modernization of ultrasonic inspection systems In many production lines the same ultrasonic inspection systems are used over the years. Advancing mechanization, automation and digitization of industrial processes increase the requirements for the existing inspection system. The problem: often it doesn´t concern the mechanics or the technology of the ultrasonic application. Rather than that, a modernization of the ultrasonic technology concerning the display, evaluation and documentation of the inspection results is necessary. Especially the communication with modern ERP systems of the customer requires the link to new interfaces and communication protocols as well as increased computing power. The part spectrum to be inspected can increase over the years whereby a technical- or also semi-mechanical extension of the systems will be necessary.
