KD Open House - 66 Years KARL DEUTSCH - March 17th, 2015, 5 pmKarl Deutsch Pruef- und Messgeraetebau120, Wuppertal, Germany
The DGZfP (German NDT Society) is visiting Wuppertal
Portable instruments, stationary testing systems, sensors and crack detection liquids are produced by 130 motivated employees in two works in Wuppertal. Additional 20 employees in international offices and a worldwide network of dealers support the export business which accounts for more than 50% of the turnover. Our customers are metal producing and processing industries, e. g. steel works, automotive companies and bearing manufacturers. Typical test tasks are ultrasonic weld testing, detection of shrink holes in castings, crack detection in forgings with magnetic particles and dye penetrants, safety-relevant components for railway or aerospace and the wall and coating thickness measurement.
Many testing systems which are ready for shipment are on display. A large ultrasonic testing bridge for ERW-pipes with a length of 30 m, ultrasonic testing systems for helical SAW-pipes, two testing systems for railway wheels (Phased Array and magnetic particle), fully-automated penetrant systems for high throughput and several magnetic particle testing systems will be shown. A subsequent dinner will provide the possibility to discuss and get to know each other.
The event is free of charge. German guests are asked to register via the German NDT society (www.dgzfp.de/Arbeitskreise/Dortmund/Termine). Foreign guests can register through KARL DEUTSCH (firstname.lastname@example.org).
