The Spanish company will show its first commercial system using phased array technology for through-transmission ultrasonics inspection (PA TTU), that notably reduces the scanning time of components.

Tecnatom participates with its own booth (Hall 1, E322) at the Spanish Pavilion, organized by the Spanish Association of Defense, Aeronautics, Security and Space Technology Companies (TEDAE) in collaboration with the Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade (ICEX).

Tecnatom is one of the most veteran Spanish companies in participating in Paris-Le Bourget (8 editions), a worldwide aerospace event with over 100 years of history. Madrid, June 11 2015.- Next June 15th starts the 51st edition of the International Paris Air Show-Le Bourget, one of the aerospace events of reference within the sector, and this year more than 2,200 exhibitors from 47 countries will be present.

Tecnatom participates in the 2015 Paris Air Show with its own stand (Hall 1, E322) at the Spanish Pavilion, organized by the TEDAE partnership and in collaboration with the ICEX. Among the activities organized by the Spanish Pavilion highlights the celebration, next June 16, of the Spanish Aeronautics Day.

Tecnatom is one of the most veteran Spanish companies in terms of the number of editions in which it has been present, and with this they are already eight editions. On this occasion, Tecnatom presents its new technology that provides high productivity during the inspection activities. For example, the first commercial system using phased array technology for inspection by ultrasound transmission (PA TTU), which significantly reduces the time of scanning components.

The event Paris Air Show represents a great opportunity to show the latest advances of Tecnatom in aerospace, especially in the development and delivery of NDT systems: inspection cells integrated in the manufacturing process to ensure quality and NDT equipment development for manual or automated inspection in maintenance activities. Tecnatom also provides technical support during lifecycle of components through technical consultancy, specifications, development procedures and the realization of the own inspection of components in its facilities or at customer sites.

Tecnatom also presents its new website specialized in products for non-destructive testing: www.tecnatom-ndt.com, that shows products such as Eddy current and ultrasonic equipment, electronics, probes, accessories sensors and software, with detailed information on all systems. In words of Maria Teresa Aguado, Deputy Director of Technology and Product Development in Tecnatom, "we are very proud of participating once more in the most important international aerospace show, and this is the eighth edition we do. This event brings together not only companies from the host country, with a significant weight in the European aviation industry, but also many others international OEMs and Tier Ones. There is no doubt, this international event Paris Air Show-Le Bourget is a must for Tecnatom, where we pretend to show our capacities to be the best technological partner."
