|Subsea Expo 2016, the industry’s flagship event, will be open for business on February 3rd and TSC Inspection Systems are proud to be taking part, exhibiting on Stand 30. Taking a larger stand this year, TSC will be presenting the core range of equipment that is key to the delivery of ACFM® technology and the NDT techniques involved in subsea crack detection measurement.
For the first time TSC will be showcasing the ACFM® MagCrawler™ which represents the latest in ACFM® subsea inspection technology. The MagCrawler™ has been developed specifically to allow ROV deployment of TSC’s ACFM® Array Probes in order to inspect geometries such as circumferential welds in pipes and tubulars, fillet or full penetration welds in plates; all of which are typically found in the oil and gas sectors. The MagCrawler™ also provides a solution when access to areas is restricted or expensive to reach using divers, such as in the splash zone and confined compartments.
Recent advances in remotely deployed subsea ACFM® inspections have led to an evolution in bespoke diverless solutions, which are now part of TSC’s ACFM® subsea technology range. TSC’s subsea inspection capabilities will be focussed on further, as part of the Subsea Expo’s “Spotlight on Technology” sessions, during the afternoon on Thursday 4th February.
