Teledyne ICM to release new x-ray generator control unitTeledyne ICM8, Andrimont, Belgium
Teledyne ICM, previously ICM X-RAY, just revealed their upgraded classic portable x-ray generator control unit: the SCU 2.0!
All the benefits and classic features that made the smashing success of the previous version, the SCU 286 - its legendary robustness, auto-troubleshooting function, and ground-breaking power supply stability - are still implemented in the new model!
In addition to these advantages that have considerably eased the life of countless x-ray operators around the world (over the last 20 years) , the SCU 2.0 (fully compatible with all SITE-X generators), now delivers a supplying voltage range almost three times broader as the original version, permitting the SITE-X generators range to be operated from 90 to 264 VAC. Moreover, its 0.99 power factor enables the control unit to be operated from any of the most commonly used light and low power generators on the market. Whether the inspection takes place in a remote harsh land where the only energy supply is a car battery, or within the comfort of a high-tech facility, the SCU 2.0 will always perform at its best!
