YXLON CT goes VGStudio MAX 3.0

30.09.2016: Effective immediately, all computed tomography systems from YXLON International will be delivered including the VGStudio MAX 3.0 visualization and analysis software family. According to the manufacturer, Volume Graphics, the software has been redeveloped from scratch. By directly implementing VGStudio MAX 3.0 and the add-on modules for special areas of application, YXLON customers profit right away from the numerous improvements and enhancements. For instance, from the bright or dark theme user interface which can be chosen as needed, from the new capability that now enables working with point cloud data alongside voxel data, meshes and CAD data, and the additional possibility to carry out combined analyses. As a result YXLON is meeting customer demands for new CT applications oriented toward the future such as 3D printing or metrology tasks.

To make all the benefits of this new VG software equally available to business partners who already run YXLON CT systems using the previous release version, YXLON Life Cycle Service is going to offer appropriate upgrade packages on a timely basis which are precisely customized to suit the respective systems and customer applications. It goes without saying that direct queries addressed to the YXLON Life Cycle Service or Sales staff are welcome, who are glad to advise customers regarding recommendable add-on modules. Primarily affected here are the YXLON systems MU2000-D, Y.Cheetah, Y.Cougar, YXLON MU60 AE, YXLON FF20 CT, YXLON FF35 CT, Y.CT Compact, Y.CT Precision and Y.CT Modular.
