|The aerospace division of Tecnatom has participated in the 10th edition of JEC Asia, the annual event 100% dedicated to Composites in Asia-Pacific area held on November 1-3.|
South Korea has become one of the main Tecnatom’s customers as it currently counts with several inspection systems, including three double-robot’s. Tecnatom Group is celebrating its 60th anniversary, six decades working on systems and Non - Destructive Testing techniques and developing own technology and inspection systems distributed worldwide.
Madrid November 3 2017.- Tecnatom Group has attended the 10th edition of JEC Asia 2017, the reference event for composite materials in the Asia-Pacific region, which was held from November 1 to 3 for the first time in Seoul, South Korea. The organization of the event expects to surpass participation figures of the last edition, with more than 230 companies from 45 different countries. JEC Asia 2017, in addition to having a large exhibition area in which Tecnatom has participated with its own stand (# E31), has designed a complete conference program aimed at professionals to show the latest developments in this field and its application to sectors as diverse as aerospace, leisure or sports.
South Korea is one of Tecnatom's main clients, having several robotic inspection systems distributed at the GNTP research center, the Korean manufacturer Songwol and Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI). The Asian country is a good example of synergy between the Tecnatom Group companies, as a big part of the training of customer and implementation works have been provided by Tecnatom’s subsidiary in China, also in charge of the warranty and postdelivery services, and for any new need or consultancy required by customer.
In JEC Asia Tecnatom has shown a wide variety of systems and applications that seek to meet aerospace industry requirements: reducing time and costs in manufacturing processes, as well as automation and improving safety.
Tecnatom Group has managed to position itself as a benchmark company in the supply of inspection systems, providing its technology to Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier and Embraer, the big four western aerospace companies, in addition to the Russian United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) and the Asian COMAC.
