|Following on from the success of the European Conference on Acoustic Emission Testing 2016, a new edition is planned, mainly organised by Cetim, Cofrend and European Working Group on Acoustic Emission.
For 46 years now, acoustic emission will be the major subject of the conference.
This complete and fast non-destructive testing method is perfectly suited to perform integrity tests on large structures.
This is a passive technique which makes it possible to keep working times and costly shutdown periods to a minimum and allows, in particular, real-time damage monitoring of components in operation.
Acoustic emission has seen constant technological progress, and the ambitious objective of EWGAE 2018 is to share these latest changes.
Simultaneously with the conferences, a scientific and technical exhibition will bring together the main stakeholders of this field.

This event will take place in Senlis from 12th to 14th of September.
