Martyn Wright originally worked for TWI as a Project Leader in the NDT research group before he headed to Lloyd’s Register. There, he worked as Principal NDE Specialist in the Marine division.

After 12 years at Lloyd’s Register, Martyn has decided to re-join TWI as UK Training Manager within the Training and Examination Services. Building upon his experience, Martyn’s new role will see him manage all TWI’s training programmes for the delivery of CSWIP, BGAS, and PCN certification schemes, at all of TWI’s UK sites.

This new role allows TWI to take advantage of Martyn’s extensive industrial knowledge and experience, and his desire to promote new products within the training portfolio.

Meanwhile, Stephen Wisniewski has been appointed as TWI’s new Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Programme Manager UK and Europe. Stephen originally worked for TWI as a Chief Examiner for 6 years before he headed to IMechE where he was employed as a Courses and Examinations Manager. After 5 years at IMechE, Stephen has decided to re-join TWI as NDT Programme Manager UK and Europe within the training school.

Building upon his 35 years’ of NDT experience, Stephen’s new role will see him manage NDT lecturers and the NDT programme for the delivery of CSWIP and PCN certification schemes at all of TWI’s UK sites.

This new role allows TWI to take advantage of Stephen’s extensive knowledge and qualifications, which include his status as a Chartered Engineer, a BEng (Hons) in materials, and his Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
