11th International Symposium on NDT in Aerospace makes good progressCOFREND21, Paris, France
The 11th International Symposium on NDT in Aerospace to be held at Saclay near Paris/France during November 13 to 15, 2019 is making good progress. The student challenge announced very recently got a huge request and the maximum of eight teams from Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Lithuania, Poland, Spain and the UK got registered within less than three weeks.
A sponsor is now still sought to sponsor the winning team in terms of their participation fees and travel and COFREND and CEA LIST as the organizing institutions are most happy to take offers. Furthermore there has been a remarkable request regarding the exhibition and parties being interested are urged to still book the remaining exhibition space available. Also the technical visits look to be mainly set where Air France-KLM Maintenance, CEA and Safran have offered to give the symposium participants an insight into their NDT related work.
The month of May will now be devoted to all incoming abstracts where the deadline for submission is May 30, 2019. The organisers again expect to establish an exciting programme with papers ranging from high level academic research to practical relevant NDT applications rendered by some exciting keynote presentations addressing the subjects of numerical simulation, machine learning and artificial intelligence, structural health monitoring as well as practical questions and issues within the world of aerostructures and aeroengines.
Further details can be found on the symposium website www.ndt-aerospace2019.com.
