Phased-Array Corrosion Mapping Solution

Eddyfi Technologies8, Swansea, United Kingdom

Silverwing RMS PA - High resolution imaging without compromising speed.

Key Features:

  • Up to 10 times faster than conventional corrosion mapping
  • High resolution imaging with standard 1 x 1 mm resolution
  • Fully integrated
  • Increased probability of detection (PoD)
  • Detachable R-Scan Array for manual corrosion mapping

Eddyfi Technologies is excited to introduce a fully integrated remote access robotic phased-array corrosion mapping solution.

We provide major inspection benefits and increased detection capabilities with our new integrated system. Defects including general corrosion, erosion and Microbial Induced Corrosion (MIC) can now be imaged with quantifiable data and detailed 3D defect characterization.

The RMS phased-array integrates a detachable handheld manual scanner for the inspection of smaller areas and assets ranging from 4 inch to flat plate.

"This is the first true Eddyfi Technologies brand collaboration, which is the start of many to follow. Adding phased-array to the RMS will bring major benefits to its users, with a scanning speed up to 10 times faster and 1 millimeter resolution, users will no longer need to sacrifice resolution for productivity. In addition to the phased-array, having the ability to automate the collection of TFM data is a game changer within the industry. We are confident that the combined systems will not only improve the data from your NII inspections but will also reduce your inspection time. It’s great to integrate two market leading solutions and it’s a first for the Eddyfi technologies team." - Stuart Kenny, GM Silverwing.
