Waltham, MA, June 2007 — Olympus NDT has been honored by the Defense Supply Center Richmond (DSCR) as one of the United States government’s best suppliers at an Automated Best Value System award ceremony held recently. Olympus NDT accepted the Gold Medal for 2006 from Rear Admiral Mark F. Heinrich, the commander of the supply center.

Firms that qualify as Automated Best Value System medalists have met stringent quality and delivery requirements established by the Defense Logistics Agency. The Automated Best Value computerized system collects a vendor’s past performance data and translates it into a numeric score ranging from 0 to 100. To qualify for a Gold Medal, a contractor must have a score of 100.

DSCR is the Defense Logistics Agency’s aviation supply and demand chain manager serving within the Department of Defense as a primary source of supply for more than 1.2 million repair parts and supply items. The center supports the US military as well as the Postal Service, NASA, and the Forestry Service. In the recent past, DSCR has purchased Nortec 2000D+ kits and Sonic 1200M kits, in addition to thousands of ET and UT sensors and other Olympus NDT products.

Olympus NDT is proud to continue its longstanding relationship with various governmental agencies and is equally proud of the role that company products play in critical missions worldwide
