Junction, NJ June 2007 MISTRAS Group Inc. is proud to announce that Dr. Valery Godinez has been promoted to Manager of Research Contracts and Applications. This organization is part of the Research & Inspection Engineering Services Group, a recently restructured division within the MISTRAS Group.
Dr. Godinez and his team will focus on large R&D contracts helping develop new technologies for the Non-destructive Testing Industry. With the research and implementation of new technologies, our group will transition them into engineering new products as well as new applications and inspection techniques for NDT Testing Services, states Dr. Godinez.
Dr. Godinez has been a key, contributing MISTRAS Group scientist since 1998, assisting in acoustic emission and ultrasonic research and development, contracts and applications. He has a PhD in Ultrasonics from the Ohio State University along with a M.Sc. Welding Engineering/NDE and a B.Sc. Physics.
