|LAS VEGAS, Nov. 13, 2007 Carestream Health Inc., the exclusive manufacturer of Kodak Industrex Products, is sponsoring the American Society for Nondestructive Testing Fall Conference this week behind a cavalcade of new products targeted to solidify its position and commitment to the nondestructive testing (NDT) industry.
Headlining the product releases is Version 2.0 Kodak Industrex Digital Viewing Software, which offers improved imaging for NDT applications by allowing users to capture and review images 60 percent faster. This product makes filmless radiography a more efficient and sensible choice for imaging needs using a redesigned software interface. For improved image clarity, the new software is bundled with high-resolution monitor options, including a portable laptop with a three-megapixel high-brightness color monitor.
Carestream has also released a new value-tier Kodak Industrex LS85 Film Digitizer with streamlined software. The digitizer system and software bundle is an affordable option for digitizing, archiving and sharing film images quickly and easily. The new bundle includes the Kodak Industrex V2.0 Digitizer Software and LS85 Large Format Film Digitizer with a single or automated six-sheet feeder.
The viewing software, an upgrade to all current Kodak Industrex equipment, was recently released alongside the LS85 in most markets. The full Kodak Industrex digital product line will be available worldwide in Q1 2008.
