FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, August 13, 2008, Baltimore, Maryland, USA - Show organizers of AeroTest America (www.aerotestamerica.com), in collaboration with the International Test and Evaluation Association (ITEA), have announced dates for their 2009 North American event, as well as plans to hold the ITEA 2009 Annual International Symposium in conjunction with next years AeroTest America Expo & Forum, September 28 thru October 1, 2009, in Baltimore, Maryland, USA.
Founded in 1980, ITEA (www.itea.org) is a not-for-profit educational organization, whose mission is to further the exchange of technical information in the field of test and evaluation. Its members include professionals from industry, government, and academia who are involved in the development and application of policy and techniques used to assess the effectiveness, reliability, and safety of new and existing systems and products. The goal of the AeroTest/ITEA collaboration is to increase global focus and dialogue on topics affecting aerospace & defense, including government, industry, academia, test, evaluation, monitoring, inspection, quality, and analytical and compliance requirements from research and development (R&D) through to production and operation.
ITEA will develop and manage all technical program components and serve as show technical lead, responsible for ensuring all workshops, tracks, panels and tutorials meet the needs of attendees. A designated area will be provided within the exhibition hall for ITEA members to showcase products and technology offerings. As show organizer, AeroTest America will provide focused exhibition management expertise and world-class networking, promotion, and visitor programs to attract a large, targeted audience of specialists to the Baltimore event.
