Phased array specialist joins Phoenix

Phoenix Inspection Systems Ltd67, Warrington, United Kingdom

Phoenix Inspection Systems has appointed Andrew Brewis as a sales engineer, providing support and technical advice to customers worldwide.

Andrew joins from Olympus, where he was the advanced product specialist for the UK on phased array equipment. He previously spent nine years as an electron beam engineer with GEC Marconi during which time he also gained a BA (Hons) degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Newcastle.

Andrew, who will be based in his home city of Newcastle, says: Phoenix has a worldwide reputation for its products and services. I am excited at the prospect of working with the staff there and the range of equipment they have to offer.

Sheila Ryan has also joined the sales team in a telesales role. Sheila has previous telesales experience and will help to promote the current range of standard and special transducers, manual and automated scanners.

Paul Ryan, sales manager of Phoenix, says: These new appointments will strengthen our current sales team and give us the capacity to support our growing customer base. They also come within months of our expansion into new, larger premises.
