Proceq Launches Pundit Lab Ultrasonic Concrete Test Equipment

Proceq has released the most versatile ultrasonic pulse velocity test equipment for concrete.

Schwerzenbach, Switzerland, April 28, 2010 -- Proceq continues the success story of the Pundit family by announcing the release of Pundit Lab test equipment for concrete. The innovative instrument features on-line data acquisition, waveform analysis and full remote control of all transmission parameters.

Paul Siwek, Marketing Manager at the U.S. Gurnee, Illinois location, is very excited about the capabilities of the Pundit Lab. “Proceq has taken the best of the existing Pundit 7 and Pundit Plus products and combined them with the technologies of our previous Tico line to create this high-quality product that is loaded with features and benefits. We designed the Pundit Lab for laboratory use, but its compact, rugged construction and long battery life make it ideal for on-site use as well.”

In addition to traditional transit time and pulse velocity measurement, Pundit Lab supports additional measurement functions for path length, perpendicular crack depth and surface velocity.

Optimized pulse shaping gives greater transmission range at lower voltage levels. With automated combination of the transmitter voltage and the receiver gain, an optimum received signal is ensured for more accurate and stable measurements.

Pundit Lab Unique Features and Benefits:
