The German producer of CR technology, DÜRR NDT, completes its winning team with the brand new HD-CR 43 NDT.

Already in the Year 2006 DÜRR NDT has presented the HD-CR 35 NDT, the world-wide first and still the only one imaging plate scanner with a Basic Spatial Resolution (BSR) of 40µm. DÜRR NDT is therefore considered to be the technical leader for Computed Radiography since then.

Since January there is another BAM certified version (BSR 40µm) of the very successful and robust imaging plate scanner available. The new HD-CR 43 NDT is specially designed for the fully automatically operation. The Scanner meets all stringent requirements of both EN 14784-1 and ASTM E 2446. (BAM Certificates and Reports can be retrieved from the Homepage)

The imaging plates are retrieved from the cassettes by means of a unique and patented mechanism. The handling of the image plate with the scanner device is completely contact-free and therefore artifact-free recording is guaranteed at any time.

The IP cassettes are produced of rigid aluminum and perfectly suited for industrial applications. To ensure that no dirt or dust enters the device, the cooling system has a fully encapsulated design. The sensitive optical system is hermetic closed. Furthermore following the stringed requirements of the industrial application, the involvement of moving parts within the device was reduced to an absolute minimum so that the complete design became a very robust one. At the same time the scanner is still considered to be the lightest system of its class with approximately 56 kg and, above all, has the smallest footprint. The HD-CR 43 NDT with its 40µm resolution is perfectly fitted for all high resolution requirements, where finest details need to be reliable depicted, e.g. in aerospace or similar. The standard version CR 43 NDT is applicable especially for the heavy workload usage e.g. within a refinery. Both versions do have an intelligent built-in high performance erasing device. The intensity of the erasure can be set according to the specific application. For both Systems various accessories are available. To learn more, visit www.duerr-ndt.de
