Vol.17 No.02 - The e-Journal of Nondestructive Testing - ISSN 1435-4934

In this month's issue, along with other interesting material, we are publishing the proceedings of the NDT in Canada Conference held in November 2011, in Montreal.
This conference is one of eight

that have now used our new Conference Management Server (CMS). Thanks to the new cloud computing, all these conferences where able to successfully complete their conference program, abstract book and proceedings nearly simultaneously.
We offer this service free of charge for all NDT conferences and publishers, to motivate Open Access publishing of their proceedings in NDT.net. This cooperation program is mutually beneficial for the whole NDT community and make conferences reliable and affordable. NDT.net is not a competitor to the NDT societies organising the conferences. NDT.net has, as its goal, to make societies' conferences more successful and accessible. All conferences that having already used the CMS are planning to use it again for their next event. This clearly indicates their satisfaction with the service. We would like to invite ICNDT, EFNDT and all other NDT societies to participate as well. CMS and the Open Access publishing can be an effective method for international cooperation and knowledge sharing. Learn more on CMS visit www.ndt.net/events.
