Thermography Online TrainingInfrared Training Limited, Liverpool, United Kingdom
3 Day Practical Training after completion of online modules 24th – 26th March, Liverpool.
Infrared Training Limited is extremely excited to present a unique product to the Thermography World. To support our clients we have produced an online training ‘Handbook’ that will allow students to study infrared physics prior to attending a three day Category (L1) certification course, that will be packed with practical workshops and practical information.
As one of the few companies worldwide dedicated to Thermography training as a ‘core product’ we have reacted to the marketplace by reducing the number of days away from site to complete this essential training for all individuals that want to use the technique professionally. The online Handbook has been developed in line with the BINDT PCN scheme, that allows for a portion of the curse material to be completed outside of the classroom. This innovative development by Infrared Training Limited in the present economic climate, reduces the impact of engineers and technicians being ‘off-site’ to attend courses. This will be attractive for future students wanting to learn Thermography in a cost effective manner regardless of their chosen application or discipline.
Upon registration students are given unique login details, the online course material can be accessed from anywhere and is suitable for most devices. Staff at Infrared Training Limited can login to the user management section and track a students progress, we can see the number of tests that have been taken and when the 100% has been achieved.
After an initial introductory section, there are then 4 modules containing infrared theory, physics with supporting images and diagrams to enhance student learning. There is a multiple choice test at the end of each section, students must achieve 100% before progressing to the next section.
Once a student has completed the online Handbook successfully- there will be technical support during office hours to assist where necessary; they can attend the 3 days practical training.
This training still meets and exceeds both ISO18436 and ASNT SNT TC 1A and students would still have the option to sit a third party PCN examination after the course, subject to application and fees being submitted to BINDT.
If you would like to be involved in this introductory course, test the Handbook and provide us with feedback during a 3 day practical course at a reduced fee- please contact the IRT office or click the following link to book your place. Book here!
