Balteau NDT: XLD Series with RC8BALTEAU NDT3, Hermalle-sous-Argenteau , Belgium
The XLD Series has been designed to answer the needs and requirements of the actual market and is composed of 3 different stationary and mobile generators, XLD100 (100kV), XLD160 (160kV) and XLD225 (225kV). Built with all the latest technologies, the aim of Balteau with these equipment is to offer an alternative between big and heavy stationary generators and portable units which can lack in power or duty cycles.
Entirely created and manufactured in Belgium, these sturdy and highly reliable generators are perfect for real time digital applications with low to medium thickness. Using the Constant Potential (CP) technology, these equipment will offer a very stable output of 1000W and deliver no less than 160kV and 12mA (at lower kV).
It is the direct evolution of our well known CLD160 and offers the choice to produce quality images comparable to conventional X-ray films even in digital. Lightweight and highly flexible, that makes it the ideal selection for all castings and medium walled steels.
Equipped with the brand new RC8 rackable control unit specially designed to control the XLD Series, it will be very easy to use and adjustments will only be a matter of a button to push. It features fine kV and mA value adjustments and an extremely clear alphanumeric display but also much more. The RC8 can also be fully controlled by Balteau NDT software Acquistion® from the Inspection Suite via the RS232 which makes the Baltograph XLD Series a user friendly X-ray examination equipment that will fit for most applications.
Its best work environments are digital applications, energy, Aeronautical & Aerospace, Transport, Military, Manufacturing, etc.
