A great solution for flexible measurement, also for coated material

Easy and reliable measurement of wall thickness and sound velocity also through coatings.

While using the standard method (SI-REmode) for the measurement of wall thickness and sound velocity the probe will be placed on the uncoated material.

The new ECHOMETER 1076 TC performs even better: Varnish or plastic coatings up to a gauge of approx. 4 mm can be blanked out to specify the wall thickness also through the coating. The calculation of the measurement result will be carried out with the aid of consecutive bottom echoes (RE-RE-mode).

The easy and comfortable menu navigation keys are very user-friendly and in a comprehensible plain language. Therefore the measuring parameters can be adjusted and modified very simply. The readings are displayed in large and clear digits and a backlight illumination of the display ensures a convenient operation also for poor light conditions.

The instrument is supplied with a shock-absorbing protective rubber holster and a sturdy carrying case for safe storage makes it a robust and reliable device, even in harsh environments. Further flexibility is given by the use of commercially available batteries size AA.

  • Miniature probe (10 MHz): 0.6 to 25 mm (SI-RE-mode)
  • Standard probe (4 MHz): 1.2 to 250 mm (SI-RE-mode)
  • Low frequency probe (2 MHz): 5 to 400 mm (SI-RE-mode)
