Houston, TX – November 4, 2013 - AcousticEye Inc., a pioneer in non-traversing tube inspection for the global heat exchanger and boiler NDT (non-destructive testing) markets, today announced the introduction of its DUET™ system for ultra-fast, inner and outer diameter inspection of tubes and pipes in any shape or material.
Designed to increase operational efficiency by an order of magnitude compared to conventional inspection techniques, DUET is a highly advanced yet easy-to-use tool that requires only a single operator versus two highly skilled operators typically required. With its simple operation, automated analysis and report generation, there are minimal training requirements and far less dependency on operator expertise.
Based on AcousticEye’s patented dual mode pulse reflectometry technology (acoustic and ultrasonic operating in parallel), DUET is a breakthrough in non-traversing inspection for NDT applications in oil and gas, power generation, petrochemical and other adjacent markets including chemical, pulp and paper, food and beverage and HVAC.
