DolphiCam included in Boeing 787 Dreamliner NDT manualDolphiTech AS12, Raufoss, Norway
DolphiTech AS announced today that Boeing has accepted its high-performance camera technology – DolphiCam. The new, flexible system can now be used in the non-destructive testing (NDT) of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner’s carbon-fiber airframe.
Boeing has incorporated a procedure for the DolphiCam CF08 ultrasound camera system in its NDT manual for the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. The procedure enables the use of DolphiCam for the field-testing of the Dreamliner’s carbon-fiber fuselage structure. "With more than 120 Boeing 787s flying today, and over 1,000 on order this is a huge opportunity for us.
