Tecnatom Presents its Latest Developments in the 19th World Conference of Non Destructive Testing in MunichTecnatom S.A.94, Madrid, Spain
The Spanish multinational shows its advances in non - destructive testing (NDT), not only in the aerospace sector, but its multiple capabilities globally on NDT, such as inspection systems, services, R&D and training.
Tecnatom participates in this worldwide conference with its own booth and presents three oral presentations within the scientific programme, two of them focus on nuclear field and another one on the aerospace sector.
Its French subsidiary, M2M, also attends the 19th World Conference on Non-Destructive Testing, held in Munich from 13 to 17 June.
Munich, 15 June 2016.- These days Munich hosts the 19th World Conference on Non- Destructive Testing (WCNDT), the most important event on NDT and its application in different industry sectors. More than 2,200 experts are participating in this important congress, which has a large exhibition area (276 exhibitors), an intensive programme of lectures (673 in 144 sessions) and a schedule of meetings and workshops.
Tecnatom participates in the 19th WCNDT with its own booth and three papers by its research staff. Two of them focused on the nuclear sector: Check Valve Diagnosis by Sectorial Scanning Phased Array Ultrasonic Technique and Ultrasonic Testing of ITER Toroidal Field Coil Cases Closure Welds. The third and final presentation will focus on aerospace: Laser Ultrasonics Inspections of Aeronautical Components by Means of Robotic Systems.
With over 50 years experience in NDT, Tecnatom is showing its latest developments in this field, both inspection systems, services and training, as its progress in NDT through R&D. The Tecnatom Group is not only present at the 19th WCNDT with its parent company; M2M, one of the two French subsidiaries of Tecnatom, also attends the event with its own stand, which will show the upgrades of GEKKO, the portable phased-array ultrasonic flaw detector inspection system.
