This Month's Introduction
Pipeline Corrosion and Cracking and the Associated Calibration Considerations for Same Side Sizing Applications
Corrosion and Cracking

This month we present some topical articles which so far have not been brought to the public.

Also in this issue we are pleased to announce five new exhibitors of our continuously growing Exhibition.

We recognized extensive usage of our Exhibitors' Literature Search - obviously 'NDT shopping' goes along with gathering information of Articles and News. For that reason we have expanded the search features which enables now a full-text search of all or particular exhibitors. Additionally you can distinguish between search in Articles or News. Together with other exhibition functions like Catalog, Homepage Search, Exhibitors' forum participants, etc., this Exhibition serves as the best information bridge between Exhibitors and Visitors.

The measure of all dosimeters
Calibrating dosimeters is one of the most challenging processes in X-ray technology. At the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt in Braunschweig, an authority of the German Ministry of Economics and Technology, they use a very reliable X-ray system from the Hamburg company, YXLON, as a calibration reference for this important task.
